Bio:

Margot Childs Prendergast is a licensed clinical social worker. She works with youth, adults, and couples, specializing in issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, grief, attachment/relationships, diversity/LGBTQ+, life transitions, and chronic pain.

Margot received both a BA and MSW at the University of Vermont. Margot’s work experience has included kindergarten teaching, low-income housing community outreach, post-secondary education support, pediatric social work, mental health crisis services, before shifting to individual psychotherapy in a community mental health clinic setting and now private practice.

Margot’s work is inspired by clients committed to exploring healthy ways to prevent, cope with, and diminish distress through developing curiosity, courage, and taking action.
