Types of therapy offered & philosophy I specialize in the treatment of adolescents, adults, and families who are struggling with relationships, depression and anxiety, and other health and mental health concerns. The foundation of my work is a strong therapeutic relationship and respectful, confidential communication. I work with people in a variety of ways to help them understand, cope with, and change life problems and emotional distress. My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. I welcome clients of any and all race, religion, culture, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

Background I completed my Masters degrees in Social Work (MSW) and Public Health (MPH) at Columbia University in 1998. My experience includes working in mental health, medical, and reproductive health clinics; schools; and community and substance abuse programs. I opened my private practice in January 2010.
